An interesting floodplain landscape awaits you here, with numerous gravel pit lakes alternating between them. On the southern bank of the river, you actually experience the bend in the Main River quite differently and see the surrounding area of Schweinfurt from a new perspective on the small hill.

A very long but very rewarding tour with its panoramic views, which I extended with a detour through the Black Moor. The paths are all easily accessible, but you'll need plenty of stamina and plenty of fluids for the 23km in summer temperatures!

Thanks to the dry grasslands of the Vorderrhön, the Haarberg has become one of my favorites. Beautiful trails, fantastic views, and a diverse cultural landscape.

Unfortunately, there are no clear signposts for the "Wipfelder Panoramaweg" in several places - beautiful views of the Main valley as well as the Rhön and the Steigerwald are offered.
