The Baroque pilgrimage church of Stadl-Paura rises on a hill near the right bank of the Traun River and was built between 1714 and 1724 by Johann Michael Prunner and Francesco Messenta. An earlier chapel dedicated to St. Blaise stood on the same site and was already mentioned in the early Middle Ages. The Trinity Church is considered Johann Michael Prunner's masterpiece. It is a creation of the highest perfection, both architecturally and theologically. Of particular note is that it was planned and constructed as a symbolic building with many allusions to the Holy Trinity. Francesco Borromini was an artistic role model for many architects of the time, including Johann Michael Prunner. Recognizable Borromini influences include the sweeping and receding exterior walls and towers, and the interior floor plan with the semicircular altar niches (in the towers), which respond to the circular central space. And the indirect light that streams in from above and from the sides, illuminating the altarpieces and the small fresco in the lantern. The wall openings behind the altars, the use of indirect light, and the church furnishings are all the work of Francesco Messenta in his role as interior designer.

Kremsmünster Benedictine Abbey Since 777, a monastic community has lived, prayed, and worked at Kremsmünster Benedictine Abbey. Today, 39 monks strive to implement the precepts of the 1500-year-old Rule of Saint Benedict in the 21st century. The abbey is primarily a place of spiritual life, which finds diverse expression: in the liturgy, as a spiritual center for its parishes, and in its commitment to culture and education through the high school and the monastic collections. Furthermore, the abbey is also an important economic enterprise and employer. The Benedictine spirit should be palpable everywhere, as Benedict writes in the chapter on the monastery's craftsmen: "That in all things God may be glorified." (RB 57:9) Even the founder of the order, Benedict, assumed that monks could work and support themselves. The library: The library is a central space for a monastery, as reading and studying are inextricably linked to monastic life. Over the centuries, the monks in Kremsmünster have not only studied the Bible and theology, but have also collected books from a wide variety of fields of knowledge. Today the library comprises around 230,000 volumes.

Achleiten Castle is a private property and is not normally open to visitors. However, it attracts numerous guests every year in June when the well-known CDI Achleiten dressage tournament takes place on the grounds. During this event, the riding facility and part of the castle grounds are open to visitors, so that interested parties have access to the tournament areas.
