A beautiful hiking area around Ossergipfel and Osserwiese, here you have a wonderful view of the Lamer Winkel and the mountains of the Bavarian Forest. The Osser viewing mountain is known for the fantastic 360 degree view of the Czech Republic, the Bohemian Forest, the nearby Arber and Hoher Bogen mountains, and if the visibility is good, even as far as the Alps.

A stop is highly recommended. Nice hosts, good food and good cake.

There is also a small material cable car at the mountain rescue hut. The supply route of the Osserschutzhaus is only possible up to the mountain rescue hut. This is where the goods are loaded onto the cable car accordingly.
