The Erlenbacher Hütte is an incentive for every hiking tour. The Amalienruhe, an idyllic vantage point on the Schluchsee shore, enchants with a beautiful lake panorama. A romantic "Bellevue Pavilion" was built on this characteristic rocky outcrop when tourism at Schluchsee was still in its infancy. The Amalienruhe is located directly on the circular lake trail and rewards all hikers and walkers with an impressive all-round view of a wonderfully harmonious Black Forest landscape. Ideal place for a rest. There are hearty but also Vespers for the small appetite. The atmosphere is just pleasantly inviting and it's wonderfully quiet. There is a nice play area for children!

Very nice hut keeper - even if the hut is not open immediately, refreshments are available on the basis of trust, which you get for a payment in the piggy bank.

The Todtnauer Hütte is the southernmost of the managed huts around the Feldberg summit and can be easily integrated into hiking tours - even from hut to hut.
