The giant sequoias can be found in the middle of the Dunkelsteinerwald. It is also a very nice resting place.

The Hirschwand, or rather the Hirschwandsteig, is well secured with ropes and footholds, but you should still be sure-footed and free from shingles if you want to enjoy the view here.

The climb is only for experienced climbers! Or rather - the descent. You can somehow get up the path secured with ladders and ropes, but the descent can be a bit tricky if you're not very experienced at climbing. The view, however, is a dream!!
