If you want to get to know the Rheingau, you should visit Eltville rather than Rüdesheim. We recommend treating yourself to a Riesling at the wine tasting stand (on the Promenade) and gazing at the Rhine, lost in thought.

This basilica is not authentic to the period and therefore actually "styleless". But anyone who has ever sat inside and listened to the silence will see that it is beautiful, especially from the inside, due to its Romanesque simplicity.
