A beautiful oasis in the city.

A breezy experience. It sways a bit up there, but it's worth it: the panoramic view is fantastic. I especially like the view across to the Pragsattel and out into the Neckar Valley. Please don't forget to drop in a one-euro donation. It's inexpensive and helps!

The Lower Palace Garden is a small, green oasis with a plane tree avenue, small lakes, streams, and many plants. Geese, herons, and swans can be seen here.

A crossing point between the centrally located Neuer See and the Pfaffensee. At the dam, there is a gated access point with a view of the lake, marked with the year 1930.

Now in mid-October the water has been drained from the pools and fountains and everything has been prepared for hibernation. Everything now seems a bit dull and empty

The Katzenbachsee is a small reservoir that is very easy to reach from the Katzenbacher Hof, among other places. After the flood protection was improved in 2023, you can once again easily hike around and on the lake.
