From Schlossplatz, walkers can reach Schlossgarten, Rosensteinpark, Leibfriedschen Garten and Wartberg on the Killesberg. There you will find a lookout tower, various garden monuments, an animal meadow with adjoining playground and even an outdoor pool. The Killesberg is used every year for various events such as the Festival of Lights with fireworks or concerts. If you are not afraid of racing speed, you can take the Killesbergbahn, a 381mm parking lift, behind a steam or diesel locomotive for a round trip.
