Beautiful medieval church with Norwegian history

Horne Church is the only round church on Funen. The central part of the present church, built of granite stones, a Nordic round church from the 13th century, was supplemented in the 15th century by two extensions to the east and west. The church bells date from 1568 and 1613. Located near Hvedholm Castle, Horne Church served as the parish church of the estate of the same name. One church among many but very spectacular.

What is interesting is the "round part" and the two large ship models of this (fortified) church, which is typical for Denmark, with a beautiful, large, well-kept cemetery (also applies to the public toilet there)

White and red wines as well as rosé wine from different grape mixtures are produced here. There is also Danske Bobler, a sparkling wine, and schnapps made in cooperation with Nordisk Brænderi.
