The Müllerrinne is a small ravine that leads down to the sea. It's a wonderful place to spend time looking for chickadees. The best place to park is at the Märchenwald parking lot, which has such large holes and depressions that you'll often find yourself stranded. If you continue cycling through the forest, you'll reach Kap Arkona.

On this route you almost always have a "sea view".

It is recommended to take the trail in the beech forest, which offers breathtaking views over the cliffs.

Some trees stimulate the imagination...just like in Lord of the Rings, but no tree spoke!

Caribbean flair on the fine-grained, white Baltic Sea beach below the fairytale forest between Nonnevitz and Schwarbe. The Baltic Sea (at least on a sunny day) presents itself in enticing shades ranging from dark blue to turquoise green. Don't expect Caribbean temperatures, though. You'll often have this stretch of beach to yourself or share it with just a few other people. Not in the summer, of course; the holiday resort and campsite take care of that.

What a wonderful path on the high shore above the Baltic Sea. The sound of the waves in your ears, the sea glimmering between the tree trunks, the sandy forest floor muffling your footsteps, and the trees taking on some bizarre shapes. It's especially beautiful to walk along during the leafless season, when the tree trunks and branches come into their own. Plus, you'll have this romantic spot (almost) to yourself.

The "Müllerrinne" borders the fairytale forest on the eastern side. It is a small ravine where a stream flows from the steep bank to the Baltic Sea. It offers a lovely photo opportunity and a view of the Baltic Sea.
