This is a megalithic tomb. Very impressive when you stand in front of it. There is a rest area nearby.

When the new Arkona lighthouse went into operation on April 1, 1905, two lighthouse optics, each with three spotlight lenses, distributed the light across the horizon. In 1995, the Stralsund Water and Shipping Authority installed a reliable and bright discharge lamp. Since then, one of the two lighthouse optics has been sufficient for the economic operation of the lighthouse. The second optic was restored by the Department of Traffic Technology in Koblenz and presented to the public next to the lighthouse in spring 2006. A panel next to it explains the optics.

A small harbor with a cute village. Very crowded in summer though. There is a small chapel on the hill.
