The brewery is not open to the public. A tour can be booked for groups of 15 to 35 people. If a group of 15 people has already registered, you can join that group individually (see also general terms and conditions). A guide is provided for each group of 35 people. A visit is possible from Monday to Saturday, every day at 10 am, 2 pm and 5 pm.

Brouwerij Liefmans is a Belgian brewery, founded in 1679 by the Liefmans family, long owned by the Brouwerij RIVA in Dentergem and now part of Duvel Moortgat. It is located in the East Flemish city of Oudenaarde. They brew different types of Liefmans beer. The history of the brewery goes back to 1679, when there was already a mention of a brewery in the Krekelput. At the end of the eighteenth century, Jacobus Liefmans settled in Oudenaarde and gave the brewery his name. From 1927, Liefmans built a new factory on the Aalststraat in Edelare.[1] All the old brewing equipment such as the boiling kettles, cooling ships and baudelot coolers are still made of red copper, which is typical for English breweries. Since 1902, the brewery was not owned by the Liefmans family, but by the Van Geluwe family.[2] In 1990, the Liefmans brewery was taken over by Brouwerij Riva from Dentergem. In 2002, Riva was taken over in turn. The new buyers decided to call the entire brewery "Liefmans" instead of Riva.[3] In December 2007, the commercial court in Kortrijk declared the Liefmans brewery, with branches in Oudenaarde and Dentergem, bankrupt. In July 2009, Liefmans launched a new product. Their new fruit beer can also be served with ice cubes. "Brouwerij Liefmans", already mentioned in the city of Oudenaarde (Krekelput) in 1679. In 1927, the permit was granted to build a completely new brewery on the eastern bank of the Scheldt on the territory of Edelare. Now only fermentation and bottling of high fermentation beers from the Riva brewery (Dentergem). Brick construction with concrete in various volumes under a flat roof.
