Beautifully maintained church, not always open to visitors

Start in Huise and follow the course of the Rooigemsebeek on this nature walk between the villages of Lede, Wannegem and the lovely Mullem. Although this region is often called the 'gateway of the Flemish Ardennes', you still get a real Flemish Ardennes feeling through the vast landscapes, windmills, charming villages with local cafes and chapels. The village square, known as Dorpstraat before 1977, ending east on the Vaddenhoek, with mainly yellow-painted buildings, was cobbled in 1994.
