Description Our family-run alpine hut is located at an altitude of 1747m and is probably one of the most beautiful vantage points in the Ötztal, with a view of the Mieminger chain, the Lechtal, Ötztal and Stubai Alps and is also a popular starting point for many mountain tours and hikes. This is not a self-catering hut, but we offer 5 rooms for guest rental! We cook ourselves and offer typical Tyrolean dishes. The hut is located at the entrance to the Ötztal valley, 800 meters almost vertically above the valley floor, above Oetz/Tumpen and offers an ascent from Tumpen via a forest path (walking time approx. 2 hours) as well as via Oetz/Piburgersee (walking time approx. 3 hours). Customs and traditions are very important; hut delicacies with products from our own farm, fresh spices and herbs from our own herb garden, barbecue evening every Saturday when the weather is nice.
