It's a great place to hike up and sled down in winter. You can rent sleds right at the hut and simply park them at the end of the sled run.

Easily accessible from the Winnebachseehütte, with beautiful views into the valley. Along the way, you'll reach a large rocky outcrop with a stunning view of the waterfall from up close.

Parish Church of St. Catherine, Längenfeld The Roman Catholic parish church of Längenfeld is located in Oberlängenfeld. The parish church of St. Catherine belongs to the deanery of Silz in the Diocese of Innsbruck. The church and cemetery are listed as historical monuments. The church was first mentioned in 1303 and consecrated in 1352. The elongated church building, with its core in late Gothic style, was rebuilt in 1518, presumably by Jakob von Tarrenz. Here, next to the hiking trail to the Nisslalm, the stream rushes into the valley - simply wonderful.

The route takes you off the main road and up through a very scrambly, very uphill trail path which we really enjoyed, but it is also possible to follow the main road up to the little chapel at the top.
