A true gem of Aschendorf, and a frequent venue for impressive events, is the magnificent Altenkamp Estate. Quite a large church for a town with 4600 inhabitants. Very nicely decorated and well maintained. Definitely worth seeing, as you wouldn't expect it to be so big and elaborate in this place.
