The Marstall Clemenswerth Youth Education Center is a cross-association Catholic educational center of the Diocese of Osnabrück in the state of Lower Saxony, where full-time and part-time educational staff conduct seminars on religious, political, musical-cultural, integrative and inclusive youth and adult education.

Hümmling Nature Park awaits you with moors, forests, heaths, and hills. It covers an area of almost 580 square kilometers in northwest Lower Saxony. The area has been protected since 2015 to preserve the moor and heath landscapes with their unique flora and fauna. The stables were among the first buildings completed in 1737/38 and housed up to 100 horses and their grooms. The planned counterpart opposite was never built. Since 1948, the Diocese of Osnabrück has owned the building, which today houses the "Marstall Clemenswerth Youth Education Center."

Client Clemens August: As the fourth son of the "Blue Elector" Maximilian II Emanuel of Bavaria, Clemens August was born in 1700. After studying theology in Rome, he was ordained a bishop five times, beginning in 1719, and was elected Grand Master of the Teutonic Order in 1732. His death in 1761 brought to an end his illustrious, nearly 40-year reign as the "Sun Prince of the Rhine." The star-shaped Baroque complex, consisting of a large main pavilion and eight smaller side pavilions, was built between 1737 and 1747 on behalf of Clemens August of Bavaria, based on a design by Johann Conrad Schlaun.
