The Olympic Tower rises far above the Olympic Park. 👍🏻😊

Both structures are part of the expansive Olympic Park, which was created on the site of the 1972 Olympic Games. In addition to the tower and stadium, the park offers many green spaces, lakes (such as the Olympic Lake), sports facilities, and event venues.

From the viewing platform at a height of approximately 190 meters, one has a spectacular panoramic view over Munich and, in clear weather, as far as the Alps; it also serves as a television tower and is an important part of Munich's infrastructure.

Königsplatz is a prominent square in the Neoclassical style, designed by Karl von Fischer and Leo von Klenze in the 19th century under King Ludwig I. It forms the center of the so-called Kunstareal (Art District) and is surrounded by monumental buildings such as the Glyptothek, the Propylaea, and the Antikensammlung (Collection of Antiquities). Inspired by the architecture of ancient Greece, the square, known as the "Athens of the Isar," was intended to be a symbol of education, art, and culture. Today, Königsplatz is a historical and cultural center of Munich and a popular venue for events, exhibitions, and meetings.

At 291 meters, the Olympic Tower is the tallest building in the city.
