To mark its 20th anniversary in 2013, the Elsterschloss-Gymnasium Support Association commissioned the creation and installation of an art installation on the grounds of the present-day Elsterschloss-Gymnasium. As part of the "Art at the Castle" project, a bronze casting model of Elsterschloss Elsterwerda was created. Directly on the beach of the Grünewalder Lauch camping park you will find this magnificent panorama of the approximately 100 hectare lake in Brandenburg near Grünewalde on the eastern edge of the Niederlausitzer Heidelandschaft nature park.

Nice little rest area

Prussian-Saxon boundary stone 175 on the boundary stone trail near Merzdorf. Information: A truncated sandstone pyramid with a plinth, located directly on the border line. The number 175 and the state abbreviation K.P./K.S. are carved on the opposite side. Seven smaller stones are placed between them at irregular intervals. The stone displays extensive, later-added carvings (including a star) and is irregularly chipped at the top.
