The Stechlinsee Loop is currently closed due to a bridge closure near the former Rheinsberg power plant. Therefore, you must choose a suitable path, hiking counterclockwise, either along the water or through the forest above the lake.

Rheinsberg Castle is really a beautiful castle

Towards the evening, this beach becomes particularly beautiful and quiet. The soft sand invites you to linger.

Excellent regional cuisine with delicious game and fish dishes, the likes of which you wouldn't expect in this remote part of Brandenburg. It's run with a very family-friendly atmosphere and a great deal of dedication. Be sure to go inside and don't be fooled by the exterior appearance!

At this point, there is not only a great view of the lake or a swimming area, but you also cross the state borders of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Brandenburg.

Mirow Castle Island is a historic and idyllic destination in the Mecklenburg Lake District. It is home to the magnificent Mirow Castle, which served as the residence of the Dukes of Mecklenburg-Strelitz in the 18th century.
