Language Download PDF Watch Edit The Wensickendorf Village Church is a Protestant village church in the Oranienburg district of Wensickendorf. The church was built in the Middle Ages, between 1401 and 1500.[1] In the following centuries, it underwent several major renovations and has been a listed building since the end of the 20th century. After the Reformation, the village's residents converted to the Protestant faith. The Wensickendorf parish belongs to the Liebenwalde parish and thus to the Upper Havelland church district of the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia.

The path is a combined cycling and hiking trail on the Stolzenhagener See. You can walk all the way around the lake. At the southern end you will find a beach and at the northern end there are some places to stop for a break.

Both lakes belong to the Biesenthal-Wandlitz-Prendener lake district, which includes around 30 large and small lakes. This water landscape was created during the Weichselian Ice Age and is only around 170 meters wide, but almost 13 times as long. On this short crossing you can experience both lakes, which are privately owned. So use the small free spaces you find, because most of them are fenced off and inaccessible.

Inconspicuous, but an important point for getting to Berlin. Originally, this railway line was known as the Heidekrautbahn. A relic from the times (around 1900) when Berliners were drawn to the Schorfheide. Today, one can be thankful that the station is still in service at all. The other stations have unfortunately been closed.
