Beautiful scenery and a route that's easy to drive on.

There are many swimming spots along the shoreline hiking trail between Eichhorst and Altenhof on Lake Werbellin, especially here, not far from Altenhof. Some of the most beautiful spots are lined up here. The area where a headland juts out into the lake, offering a bit of privacy off the trail, is traditionally very popular. The marked swimming spot is just a short distance away.

A very beautiful mammoth. Unfortunately, it stands there at the edge of the forest, a bit lost and squashed by the branches. It's meant to point to the Groß Ziethen Geopark. More information about the geopark can be found at https://www.schorfheide.de/region-schorfheide/geopark.html

The sunbathing lawn is incredibly large, but it's grass. The swimming area, or the area where you enter the water, is a small sandy area.

Here stand or sit the sculptures of the Germanic goddesses of fate. The three, named Urd (past), Verdandi (present), and Skuld (future), are known as the Fates of Norse mythology. Very beautiful works that demand close admiration.

A building absolutely worth seeing, both inside and out. The Kaiserbahnhof has been extensively renovated and refurbished. The old wall paintings have been partially restored and supplemented with historical images. Nowadays, the Kaiserbahnhof can be used for weddings and has a very beautiful wedding hall.

The wooden bridge, built in 2001, spans the Werbellin Canal between Eichhorst and Lake Werbellin. On the right side, toward the lake, there are a few beautiful trails.
