The Papensee near Liebenberg in Brandenburg is an idyllic body of water surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The lake is a popular destination for hikers and nature lovers. There are numerous hiking trails around the lake that lead through forests and meadows. Here you can enjoy nature to the fullest and escape from everyday life. The routes are not too demanding and are therefore well suited for families with children or for older people. The Papensee is about 17 hectares in size and has a depth of up to 8 meters. Here you can swim or just enjoy the tranquility. The lake is surrounded by a beautiful landscape and offers numerous photo opportunities.

The circular route around the Lankesee is about 4 kilometers long and leads through a mixed forest, across meadows and along the lake. The route is not too demanding and is therefore well suited for families with children or for older people. At the moment (2023) some trees have fallen over the paths.

The route is not too demanding and is therefore well suited for families with children or also for older people - however, at the moment (2023) there are trees overturned in some places and after a rain it can get muddy in some places. The lake itself is a small paradise for anglers and nature lovers. Here you can relax in peace and quiet and enjoy the beautiful landscape. The lake is about 6 hectares in size and has a depth of up to 8 meters.

Very nice avenue behind the lake house back to the forest.

The most beautiful view I know of the Great Lankesee from the south bank. This is easy to reach via a small path.
