There are many swimming spots along the shoreline hiking trail between Eichhorst and Altenhof on Lake Werbellin, especially here, not far from Altenhof. Some of the most beautiful spots are lined up here. The area where a headland juts out into the lake, offering a bit of privacy off the trail, is traditionally very popular. The marked swimming spot is just a short distance away.

Fontane visited Lake Werbellin several times and described it as a "fairytale place" in his "Wanderungen" (Walks). The stele was dedicated in his honor in 2016.

A beautifully designed fish restaurant with a lovely terrace directly above the lake. The fish menu is extensive. Fish and fish sandwiches are available for takeaway purchase at the front.

A magical bathing spot that offers everything. Spacious surroundings with meadows and trees are very attractive. Plenty of benches to sit on! There are parking spaces available for those traveling by car, but someone would have to be brave enough to use the narrow, steep access road and drive down the embankment. It's not necessary, I suppose. The nearby village of Werbellin offers enough attractions, so a walk from there is a good idea.

You can park easily here and then go on various walks or hikes. Restaurant: Petra's Fish Express is recommended and is very close to the parking lot.

Free. Right next to the fish snack bar. Be careful when driving onto the road. It's a bit confusing due to a permanent construction site.
