Dobbertin Monastery is special in every way. It is picturesquely situated on Lake Dobbertin. It is the only monastery in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania that belongs to the state. Dobbertin Monastery was a Benedictine monastery founded in 1234, which later became a nunnery. After the Reformation, decreed for Mecklenburg in 1549, the monastery became a Protestant convent in 1572. The Dobbertin Church is today the church of the Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of Dobbertin, but also the "house church" for the diaconal institution. It is the only church in Mecklenburg with two towers. The elongated, single-nave space is vaulted. The Diakoniewerk took over operation in 1991 as an institution primarily for mentally disabled people, for whom the monastery is a new home. Guided tours take place from May to September on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 3 p.m. In the workshops, visitors can get an insight into the work and lives of the residents of Dobbertin Monastery. A café by the lake, where tours are offered, offers refreshments and refreshments. "It's good to be here," one might say; everything invites you to linger. Trail as a shortcut from the K135 road to Goldberg. Beautiful single trail with a high fun factor. You come directly to the bathing area with a kiosk and a view of the lake.👍🏻

The Goldberg windmill in Goldberg (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern), Werderstrasse, formerly also called Pierstorfer Mühle, was built in 1863 on a hill outside the town near Goldberger See. The five-storey windmill from 1863 is a gallery windmill on the masonry of a previous mill. In 1924 it was rebuilt by the Amme, Giesecke & Konegen mill construction company.[2] It was powered by wind until 1953 and then by electric motor until 1960. After that the mill fell into disrepair and the town of Goldberg bought it and gutted it to set up a restaurant. The building continued to deteriorate considerably. In 2005 the empty building was bought by a family who renovated the mill and rebuilt it inside by 2008/10, renewing the hood, gallery, wing cross and compass rose. The Goldberg windmill in Goldberg (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), Werderstrasse, formerly also called Pierstorfer Mühle, was built in 1863 on a hill outside the city by Lake Goldberger See. The building is a historical monument. The city of Goldberg with 3392 inhabitants (2020) was first mentioned as Gols in 1227 and received city rights (civis) in 1248. In 1450, Duke Gerhard pledged “Hof und Mühle” to the knight Ulrich von Metzingen. In 1715 a new water wheel was built for the mill. In 1904 the farm burned down, the watermill was preserved. The five-story windmill from 1863 is a gallery Dutch on the brickwork of a previous mill. It was operated with wind until 1953 and then with an electric motor until 1960. After that, the mill fell into disrepair and the town of Goldberg acquired and gutted it to set up a restaurant. The building continued to deteriorate considerably. In 2005 the empty building was acquired by a family who renovated the mill by 2008/10 and rebuilt it inside, replacing the hood, gallery, wing cross and compass rose. Apartments were created inside.
