야외 간식거리로는 좀 추웠기 때문에 마을에서 좋은 생선 요리집을 찾아다녔고, 찾았습니다.

Top quality. Always fresh fish, including our own catch. Fair prices. Friendly staff. Self-service. Seating outside with a view of the lake.

Carmen Langmaack, who passed away in 2015 at an advanced age, left a remarkable legacy to the town of Mölln. A foundation was established to promote nature conservation, animal welfare, and environmental education – entirely in her spirit. Although she no longer lived in Mölln for many years, she maintained a close connection to her homeland and the surrounding nature. Today, a beautiful footpath with a wooden bridge between the lakes at Schmalsee commemorates her: the Carmen Langmaack Trail.

A very nice place to rest.

Chic cabins for boats and all sorts of other things for a nice weekend on the water. The owners probably find the hiking trail along it a nuisance. But it's also a good place for cycling.

A lake with some recreational opportunities and catering is provided.

The UNESCO Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve lies between the metropolitan areas of Hamburg, Lübeck, and Schwerin. The 24-square-kilometer Schaalsee was formed by glaciers during the last Ice Age and is one of the deepest lakes in Germany. Islands, bays, and extensive reed beds characterize the Schaalsee. The lake's rich flora and fauna is a result of its history: During the division of Germany, the inner-German border ran through the lake, allowing nature to develop largely undisturbed. Today, hiking and cycling trails lead through beech and marsh forests, moors and wet meadows, commercial forests, pastures, and fields.

The Gothic parish church of St. Peter and St. Paul is located in the same complex as the monastery and the local history museum. The church is free to visit, provided no events are taking place.
