On the lakeside terrace at Hainer See, by the lagoon, you can sit with a lovely view of the water and enjoy coffee, cake, alcoholic drinks, main courses and much more. It is around 130 square metres in size and there are several small shops. It is suitable for weddings and parties. Open: Mon/Tues 11.30 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Wed - Sun 11.30 a.m. - 9 p.m. There are some free parking spaces on site, but there are plenty of paid parking spaces nearby.

In 1473, Pope Sixtus IV named the church as consecrated to Saint Lawrence. The pulpit and altar date from 1693, the year in which the church was also redesigned. The nave has been rebuilt and renovated several times over the centuries. The tower was rebuilt in 1744, renovated in 1787 and measured at 53.69 meters. A major renovation was carried out again in 1880/1881, with the chancel and tower remaining standing and the entire middle section being torn down and rebuilt. From 1968 to 1970, the interior and exterior were renovated. The altar crucifix, which had been rescued from the Hain church after it had been excavated, was set up in the church vestibule. During the last major renovation from 1990 to 1994, the tower clock was replaced and the church was given a new coat of paint both inside and out. Source: Wikipedia
