Adjacent to the castle is the former manor house, where the Trebsen Manor Friends Association is headquartered. Numerous visitors come to the "Blues Nights" once a month. The association also offers other cultural and creative activities. The International Highland Games, held in September in the neighboring castle and park, are a top-class event. The Trebsen Manor also houses the Raw Materials Competence Center for Stones and Earths in the GeoErlebnisWerkstatt Trebsen. The exhibitions "Porphyry, Tuff & Co.", featuring volcanic rocks from the region, and "Precious Stones in Saxony - Treasures in Porphyry," which showcases local minerals, are worth seeing.

A FriedWald burial is usually accompanied by a memorial service. This can be a traditional service with a clergyman or a free ceremony. Music and singing can be included—according to your wishes. After the farewells, the urn is carried to the grave site. It is then lowered into the ground, and the grave is sealed.
