Lake Neukirchen is a lake in the municipality of Malente in the Ostholstein district of Schleswig-Holstein, located directly east of the village of Neukirchen. It lies in Holstein Switzerland, surrounded by a hilly moraine landscape.

A very beautiful fieldstone church. Outside and inside!

There are still a few old graves scattered around the green areas around St. John's Church. It seems that no one is buried there anymore.

a really old brick church. It was built in the 12th century from field stones based on designs by Vicilin. Beautiful - inside and out. Simple and not pretentious. I particularly liked the small apse and the angel in it.
