No more cake: Landcafé Mözen has closed This is what it's about: Drinking coffee with homemade cake - that's what the café in Mözen was known for. This is what happened: But after the winter break, the oven will remain cold. Homemade cakes and sheet cakes will no longer be available, at least not for sale in the café. A water dispenser has recently been installed next to the fountain. Ideal for replenishing your drinking water supplies while on the go.

Good to know that they exist here. Also a nice place for a little rest.

The Rantzau stone comes from a destroyed megalithic grave that was about 75m long and 8m wide and lay parallel to the road. Heinrich Rantzau placed this stone "aelatis 50" - i.e. in his 50th year - at the height of his power.

Only for experienced riders downhill. Lots of scree and washed out areas. Very strenuous uphill section

From there you have a fantastic view of the Trave lowlands. And this beautiful landscape almost makes you forget the proximity to the A21.

This is one of the very few (legal) places where you can get close to the waterline of Lake Mözen and enjoy the panorama and nature - together with bathing dogs. The Mözener See is literally paved with prohibition signs all around. Visitors are obviously only valued here if they pay.
