The Nonnweiler Dam is the largest drinking water reservoir in Saarland and supplies the entire region with fresh water. Tip: Ideal for families with children or anyone who wants to take a short break along the way. You should bring your own snacks or drinks, as there are no direct catering facilities.

Directly behind the community center in Züsch is a spacious parking lot, making it the perfect starting point for hikes. The "Das Züscht" trail begins here, leading through varied terrain and partly natural paths. Tip: Get there early – the space is large, but it can get crowded during events at the community center.
