The (replica) dome stands in the middle of the bend in the old tram track of the Rotterdam Tramway Company (RTM). From 1906 to 1965, RTM steam and diesel trams ran here to transport passengers to the beach. It is now a walking path.

Drive along the Scheveningen boulevard, enjoy the view of the sea and take your time at the beautiful pier with Ferris wheel. Give the Kurhaus a look too.

Delicious coffee stop between Hoek van Holland and Kijkduin. We opened especially at 10:30 am to provide our Swift Leiden tour group with coffee, great. Heerlink spot on the dune. Other side of the dune, the beach. The sun failed to shine for a while.
