A very nice bike path in stunning scenery. Cycling here is truly enjoyable. And by Dutch standards, there's a lot of elevation gain here.

Along the route, you'll encounter a wide variety of polder windmills. These windmills were designed to pump water from low-lying areas and thus keep the land dry. The vast majority of the mills around the Kagerplassen lakes are characteristic hollow post mills with a cube-shaped upper house.

Coming from Boskoop, meandering along small Giethoorn, first about 300-500m gravel and then a beautifully situated narrow cycle path. With the sun on your face you get a fantastic landscape!
