The Reformed Church "De Fontein" dates from 1790 and was built on the remains of a 13th-century tuff stone predecessor. Later, in 1926, a second nave was added to the north side. As a national monument, the church stands out for its unique features, such as the cast bell, the pulpit, the baptismal font, the stained-glass window, and the organ. During the summer months, the church opens its doors on Saturday afternoons to visitors who wish to explore or enjoy a quiet conversation.

The harbor in Lemmer is simply beautiful. The town's canal also offers numerous mooring options for houseboats, for example. Numerous cafes, restaurants, and small shops are located here.

The bell tower with its helmet-shaped roof stands in a small, circular churchyard. Inside hangs a bell by P. van den Ghein from 1596 with a diameter of 78 cm.

Sit on the grass with a snack and a drink, watch the marina, and rest for a while before cycling back home. Wonderful.
