This is where the first Swiss troops landed on June 1, 1814 after the departure of the French soldiers. Far from a modest double row of stilts of 1814, the Port-Noir can now accommodate a total of just over 400 boats. The private SNG port adjacent to the Port-Noir has 1,000 mooring places.
