at this point the walk is along a busy road but it is worth staying on the route to join the path along the Rhone.

Magnificent spot in Switzerland very close to Thoiry in France. The river is accessible here for a swim. Allondon is a protected waterway and the area has rich flora and fauna.

At this place, you can enjoy a panorama of the vineyards (green in summer, giving freshness and brightness to the landscape) and Mont Salève on the French side. The views are especially spectacular during the warmer seasons.

Sturdy wooden footbridge crossing the stream (or small tributary of the main river) called Le Nant d'Avril. It is a very quiet place in the middle of the forest.

Entrance into the town of Penny. On this bridge, you can admire the panoramic view of the impressive Rhône river. The water is turquoise and clear. The best views from here are in summer on a sunny day.

A small playground in the village of Satigny. Perfect if you are hiking with young children. It's a good place to take a break and play.
