A very beautiful cycle path through the forest and along the lake. There's a nice, large rest area right by the lake.

An old chapel converted in a restaurant/fika. Really nice place with warm food and pastries. Open all year round.

Barbara&Rene Nice little beach. However, camping is now prohibited. 300m east along the lake is a small sandy beach with space for a tent. The toilet can then still be used from the bathing beach.

Askersund lies at the intersection of many tourist interests. The long-distance cycle route Sverigeleden 20 runs through it. Sports boats are jostling for the best spots at the harbor 🚤⛵️🛥⛴ and there is vintage cruising on the streets almost every day 🚗🚓🚙
