The Lady of Elche is one of the most emblematic pieces of Iberian art and a cultural symbol of Spain. Material: Carved and originally polychrome limestone. Dimensions: 56 cm high, 45 cm wide, 37 cm deep; approximate weight: 65 kg. It represents a female bust with idealized features. She wears an elaborate headdress: a tiara with a veil, a diadem, and two large side buns where her hairstyle was gathered. She wears a mantle that reveals three necklaces, earrings, and a fibula.
