An Art Deco church, particularly representative of the revival of sacred art in the 1920s. A masterpiece among the churches of the Reconstruction period, visitors will be captivated by the frescoes, mosaics, stained-glass windows and superb bell tower supported by angels. Built between 1928 and 1932 under the direction of architect Paul-Albert Müller, the church is both modern and back to basics. The use of reinforced concrete, a material already used by some architects before the war, is combined with early Christian symbols such as the fish or the pelican

The Saint-Marcoul oratory in Orbeny is a small shrine located near the Saint-Marcoul de Corbeny priory, a former monastery where the relics of Saint Mark were kept. The oratory is a simple stone construction with a roof and a niche, where a statue of Saint Mark stands. It was probably built in the 19th century, when the priory had already fallen into disrepair. The oratory is surrounded by two large chestnut trees and is a place of worship for pilgrims who come to Corbeny to seek the healing power of Saint Mark. Saint Mark was a monk who lived in Normandy in the 6th century. He was known as a miracle worker who could cure eczema and other skin diseases. His relics were transferred in the 10th century to Corbeny, where the kings of France came to receive the power to cure eczema by touching the sick and saying the words: “The king touches you, God heals you”. This tradition lasted until the 18th century, when the relics were brought to Reims. Saint Mark's Day is celebrated on May 1.

The Prieuré Saint-Marcoul de Corbeny is a former Benedictine monastery located in Corbeny, in the Aisne department. It was founded at the beginning of the 10th century and played an important role in the religious and political history of the region. The monastery was founded by Charles III the Simple, who granted asylum to monks from Nanteuil in Normandy during the Norman invasions. These monks brought with them the relics of Saint Marcoul, which were known for their healing powers. The relics attracted pilgrims, including kings of France who came to Corbeny after their coronation in Reims to receive the healing power of the relics. The monastery was closed in 1790 during the French Revolution. Despite its closure, the Prieuré Saint-Marcoul remains an important historical and cultural monument in the region.
