The Wilhelmina van Pruisenbrug is a drawbridge for pedestrians and cyclists in Hekendorp, spanning the Hollandsche IJssel River. Built in 1992 to replace a ferry, it is named after Princess Wilhelmina of Prussia, who was arrested nearby in 1787. The bridge is electrically operated by a pushbutton and is primarily used during the sailing season. It is part of the historic and touristic Princess Route.

St. Bartholomew's Church in Schoonhoven is a neo-Gothic church located at Wal 63, consecrated in 1872. Designed by architect Evert Margry, a student of Pierre Cuypers, it combines elements of the neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque styles. The church has a three-aisled pseudo-basilica with a tower central to the side facade. Inside, it houses a remarkable single-manual mechanical organ, built in 1784 by J.J. Mitterreither, which is a protected national monument.

Stein Pumping Station is a historic pumping station dating from 1883 on the Steinsedijk near Haastrecht, near Gouda. It was built to drain the Stein Polder and was originally steam-powered, later electric. Since 2006, it has been out of use as a main pumping station and now serves only as an emergency pumping station. The building has a monumental appearance and may be transferred to a new manager who wants to preserve its heritage.

The Haastrecht Hefbrug is a striking, manually operated drawbridge over the Hollandse IJssel River, built in 1883 to replace a ferry. It connects the center of Haastrecht with the Stein district and has become a historical and cultural icon. The bridge opens only a few times a day and sometimes causes waiting times for recreational boaters.

The official name is Lange Weidsche Boezem and is part of the drainage system of the Hoogheemraadschap De Stichtse Rijnlanden and runs from the Dubbele Wiericke to the Hollandse IJssel.
