Very charateristic wooden hut. It's a single room with toilet service on the outside. That alone is worth the ascent, like the Matterhorn view on its own. You can even sleep there, better if equipped.

Alpe Bayettes is a charming mountain pasture that can be easily reached from Cervinia. Along these trails, the views of the Matterhorn are breathtaking, and the terrain is so well-maintained it's like running on clouds. An excellent route to take from here is to go up to the Giovanni Bobba Bivouac and then go back down to Cervinia.

Cervinia is located under the imposing south face of the Matterhorn. This country offers all the services and entertainment for an active holiday. Near the center is a replica of the Matterhorn summit cross. If you cultivate the dream of reaching the top of the Giant, I advise you not to touch this cross, as it could bring you bad luck - so they say!
