Stunning scenery, with many chamois and ibex. Fenestrelle Peak is very scenic. The trail is well marked, but some rock climbing experience is required.

The animals are actually all quite shy, except for the ibexes, who are quite relaxed and won't run away even if you're standing two meters away! (The animals seem to be everywhere, so it's worth keeping your eyes open.)

The Rifugio Genova-Figari, at 2,015 m, is located in the Maritime Alps, at the foot of Monte Argentera. Open in summer, it offers the possibility of overnight stays and a restaurant with typical cuisine. Managed by the CAI Ligure, it can be reached from Entracque.
