For mountain biking, the various trails you can explore are truly spectacular. It's hard to say which is the most beautiful!

Located on the border between the municipalities of Chiaverano and Ivrea, in the Canavese area, Lake Sirio is home to the historic Canottieri Sirio Society, founded in 1887, and reaches a depth of almost 45 metres.

This little church was dedicated to Saint Peter. Simon, nicknamed Peter (Rock), was a fisherman on Lake Genesareth when he was called by Jesus Christ to be a "fisher of men" together with his brother Andrew. According to Catholic understanding, he is the highest apostle, and the two thousand year long line of popes - currently Francis - are his successors. In statues and paintings, Peter is almost always depicted with two keys in his hand; this attribute refers to the Bible verse in Matthew: "I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." (Chapter 16, Verse 19). Peter is also known together with Paul as the "prince of the apostles"; their common feast day in the calendar of saints is June 29th.

Excellent dirt roads and some paths to enjoy the riverside, not far from the lakes.

Ancient original road leading to Montalto Castle. From the cobbled path of the centuries-old Atlas Cedar it allows you to reach under the walls of the Castle through the typical vegetation of the Ivrea Lakes Reserve.

Punta Montesino is a hill just over 500 meters high located between the 5 lakes of Ivrea. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view over the lakes and towards the mountains. To reach the top, be careful in case of rain as it can be very slippery.
