A jewel set in the mountains of Abruzzo.

Small village on the shores of Lake Barrea, in the Abruzzo National Park, it is immersed in a suggestive natural environment.

Inside the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, surrounded by mountains, there is Lake Barrea which overlooks the three villages: Villetta Barrea, Barrea and Civitella Alfedena.

Villetta Barrea is located on the Sangro river in the shadow of Mount Mattone and it is not uncommon for you to come across splendid specimens of deer in its streets. The town was built around the 13th century castle. There are two museums to visit, the transhumance museum and the water museum.

A centenary forest in the heart of the Majella National Park. Especially beautiful in autumn. There are some paths inside the woods of low difficulty, but better done with a MTB.

In Scanno it's all about going up and down between stone houses with wrought iron balconies and lots of flowers in terracotta pots, even on the stairs leading to the entrances of the houses.

The historic center of Pescasseroli is a jewel full of narrow streets with balconies full of flowers.
