Beautiful viewpoint "Roches de Baume" with views from the plateau into the valley and as far as Baume-les-Messieurs.

Lacs de Maclu are two adjacent lakes in the western part of the French Jura, in the Jura department of Franche-Comté. They are located at an elevation of 779 m in a depression in the High Jura, in the region of the Five Lakes near Le Frasnois, about 12 km south of Champagnole. The Petit Maclu, located to the northeast, has an area of 5 hectares, a length of about 500 m, and a maximum width of about 120 m. Its greatest depth is 11 m. It lies entirely within the municipal territory of Le Frasnois.

Easy, shaded path, perfect for cooling off in hot weather.

chateauneuf the chateau has disappeared except for one tower.

Beautiful views, but unfortunately the railway line cycle path is not asphalted.

As you travel along the PLM Route, you’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Vallière Valley. Once a historic railway line, this scenic route now offers a tranquil escape through rolling hills, lush forests and charming villages. From the elevated vantage point, you can admire the meandering river, picturesque vineyards and distant mountains.

Nice railway line cycle path, here with good asphalt. But here too, unfortunately, with permitted local traffic, although I didn't see anything to the right or left where local residents wanted to go.
