The old town hall is a great place to rest. There's a lovely café inside and shady spots outside. St. Michael's Church is worth a visit, beautifully renovated.

The sculpture is located on the corner of Nibelungenstrasse and Schulstrasse, opposite the now demolished "Blue Palace". The sculpture "The Bath in Dragon's Blood" is from a series of 14 sculptures by the artist Jens Nettlich based on the Nibelungenlied. Siegfried bathes in the blood of the slain dragon, which makes him invulnerable except for a small spot where a linden leaf has fallen.
