On this pleasant road which benefits from a protective shade in many places, it is not uncommon to make incongruous encounters with semi-domesticated animals such as goats, black pigs and sometimes even cows. The landscapes are really striking, and the forest magnificent.

Very nice lake and view! Tolla is idillic and the decent is technical but rewarding. At the top the gorge is narrow and rocky :)

If you want to avoid some sun and still want to do a nice road bike tour, you can take this road. You can get to the top quickly and the forest is really beautiful!

From this point you have the most beautiful view of the Tolla reservoir. A small café is sometimes set up here during the summer months.

From the pass you have a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. The roads to the pass are almost deserted. At most you will meet a few stray domestic pigs resting and eating chestnuts in the middle of the road.
