The Vergio Pass culminates at 1,467 meters above sea level. It connects Haute-Corse and Corse-du-Sud, as well as the two sides of the island, from the interior. It is one of the meeting points between the GR 20 and the GT 20.

Located at the pass of the same name and close to the road, the Hôtel de Vergio and the small grocery store allow you to recharge your batteries before continuing on the GR 20. A refuge with 70 beds is also located a few steps from the hotel.

Great place to resupply. Book the hotel restaurant on arrival if you want to eat inside! They take card payment. Campsite is just round the corner and has a quiet shaded section further back.
