Ready money cove. Beautiful beach. Dogs are allowed most of the year. Check signage.

This is a secluded beach near the village of Haven. It's a bit less commercialised than some of the other nearby Cornish beaches so is a great spot if you're after a quieter seaside experience.

The grotto here was built in the late 18th century. Although you can't access it, you can see the octagonal folly from the beach. The area is called Polridmouth Bay which is pronounced Pridmouth.

Polkerris is a secret cove in Cornwall which has a lot to offer. A pub, seafood restaurant, cafe, watersports, clear blue waters and a wooded backdrop. It makes a great place to start or finish a run.

You can't miss Gribbin Head, topped by the iconic Gribbin Tower, built in 1832 to aid ship navigation into Fowey and St Austell Harbour. The tower made Gribbin Head easily recognisable against nearby Dodman Point and St Anthony's Head. Unlike a lighthouse, it isn't lit.

Polridmouth Cove is transformed at low tide when two coves become one sandy bay. Running here, you'll likely have the place nearly to yourself as its only accessible by footpath. Dogs are welcome at any time of year.
