On our hike we found a small hidden access to the coast with a small harbor. Quiet and worth seeing.

The church of St. Levan is somewhat hidden away from the coast. When we visited it was open and we were able to look at it from the outside and inside. Here too, the church has a rather mystical feel due to its architectural style and especially the cemetery.

The section of the South West Coast Path here at Pordenack Point is simply beautiful. It is the first major headland south of Land's End. There are beautiful coastal views to be had from here, especially south towards the headland of Carn Boe. The finest granite cliffs in Cornwall are to be found here, between Pordenack and Porthgwarra in the south.

This point is of course the classic one and you have to head there just for the photos. But it's better to leave the tourist center to one side and continue walking along the wonderful coastal path.

Very nice beach, which is sure to be full on sunny days. Nevertheless, the Brits throw themselves into the waves even when it's drizzling in May.

This spot is named after an 80-ton stone on top of the outcrop that used to rock if pushed in the right place. Sadly, it rocked it's last rock in 1824 when a group of sailors pushed it into the sea. The sailors were made to replace the rock with their own money and you can see the paperwork relating to the incident on display in the Logan Rock Inn.

Remember to wave at the man with his binoculars on the top floor. It’s rumoured that he reads 374 books a year and only picks his binoculars up when someone looks at him. Make sure you wave but don’t let disappointment consume you when he doesn’t wave back.

A super nice little café at the campsite with a very attractive menu and daily opening times (see the next two photos). Coffee super delicious! And the innkeepers are very nice.

You can't miss this place if you're near here. Nothing is particularly dramatic here, and yet Lands End is a symbolic place; Lands End is the western end of mainland Britain. Lands End is much more: the end of the world, a landmark, a starting point or an ending point and dangerous for shipping. In front of and in the cliffs there is a ship graveyard, no wonder. And for hiking fans: Land’s End is the beginning or end of one of the biggest hiking challenges in the UK: from Land’s End to John o’ Groats it is over 1,600 kilometers diagonally across the island. No two other points on the British mainland are so far apart, and connecting these two places runs from the most southwestern point in England to the most northeastern point in Scotland.

Beatiful view over the white sands of Porthcurno beach. At low tide Porthcurno merges into the neighbouring Pedn Vounder beach. Behind you is the Minack, an open air theatre cut into the side of the cliff.

A beautiful secluded church perched on the cliffs above Porthchapel beach. The original church dates from medieval times, but was heavily rebuilt in the 12th century. The holy well of St. Levan lies just off the main footpath that leads down to the beach. Water from the ell is still used for church baptisms.
